Meet Aurajanelle

AuraJanelle (Pronounced ‘ORIGINAL’-with a twist)’s passion for Mixology and creative concept development, derived from an extensive, yet, dynamic background in food, beverage, restaurant and hospitality industries.  Her areas of study and fun include(s) music, sports, writing, business, culinary, creative and performing arts, has given AuraJanelle an elaborate edge on her crafting abilities, visual eye and undying professionalism.

Born in Lenox Hill Hospital (Manhattan), grew up in Soundview (The Bronx), and was raised in Teaneck, Bergen County (New Jersey).  AuraJanelle knew hard work, dedication and perseverance would be the main components to the focus and grind of her success. From a youth she was always a “tough cookie” that was apart and members of: The Girl Scouts, N.A.A.C.P youth council, Urban League for academic achievement, Delta Sigma Theta Teen, Teaneck High School 3T (Terpsichorean Dance Group, Track & Field, Twirling/ Color guard), Sister to Sister mentoring program for young Black and Latino girls, a Trumpet and Viola Player, Teaneck Ring Aerobics (Boxing), Tri-Town Unity League (Basketball), avid Soccer player… all while having  surgical screws; often hiding it, but, not thwarting her ambitions.

She attended Five Towns College (Dix Hills, New York) majoring in music business management & recording engineering (in hopes of becoming the next Missy Elliiott/P.Diddy) and degree from Bergen community College.

The name AuraJanelle was formed by a combination of things but primarily with her grandmother’s beautiful (belle-elle) aura, name “Janis (Jan for short)”, personal energy in mind, as well as, an ingenious spin on just being HER, and lived through since passed in the late 90’s.  AuraJanelle started her business concept amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic of 2020, when doors of employment were closed, and life seemed to be shut down...
